They say cinema is inspired by real life... or maybe not.

Meet Huma Mobin, the real life Rani of 'Queen'. While Rani (played by Kangana Ranuat) went on her honeymoon after being rejected by her fiance on her wedding day, Huma's story was not so tragic but heartbreaking nonetheless.

Huma and Arsalaan Sever Butt from Lahore, who got married several months ago, were set for a second honeymoon in Greece with Mr Butt's parents.

But as luck would have it, Butt was denied visa and their honeymoon dreams came crashing. Well, almost.

Initially the young woman didn't want to go without her beloved, but since the entire holiday was already paid for, the couple decided Huma should see the country.

This meant she was left to see the sights with her in-laws for 10 days as Mr Butt was left at home in Pakistan.

In order to share the trip with her husband, Mrs Butt snapped some photos of her time abroad at the destinations she visited.

What followed was a bunch of hilarious pictures from the vacation that have gone on to break the internet!

She has won everyone's heart with her funny take on the otherwise unfortunate turn of event.

The pictures see an animated and visibly sad Mobin posing at every possible Greek alley, without her husband, of course.

In most photos she also had an arm outspread as if hugging her absent husband, making for hilarious holiday snaps.

To add to the tragedy, halfway through the trip the young woman accidentally lost her phone, dropping it in the Aegean Sea, so then started posing for photos showing that she missed both her husband and her device.

Financed by her husband's parents, the Greek vacation has managed to make Mobin an internet sensation.

"My in-laws feel that travelling is an investment with infinite returns. So they opted to invest in travelling than in jewellery. My mom-in-law was against me making shadi jodas or any jewellery, and I'm also happy wearing fakes and going on such trips. So we synced well and had a pretty great trip," Vagabomb quotes her as saying.

Although the couple missed out on the holiday together, they did get one honeymoon after they were first married in December 2015.

The first time around the couple visited the Maldives, and thankfully had no visa issues.
