Foreign investment on DFM at Dh14.7m in a week

Dubai Financial Market announced on Thursday that net foreign investment during January 15-19 reached Dh14.7 million as aggregate buy.

A DFM statement said the value of shares bought by foreign investors during the week stood at Dh192.3m comprising 41.7 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

The value of stocks sold by foreign investors reached Dh177.6m, accounting for 38.5 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period under review.

Shares bought by institutional investors during last week valued Dh115.9m comprising 25.1 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

The value of stocks sold by institutional investors during the period reached Dh107.8m which constitutes 23.4 per cent of the total value of stocks traded during the period.

Net institutional investment on the market reached Dh8.1m during the period as aggregate buy.
