Mohamed bin Zayed offers condolences to family of nation's martyr Saeed Al Falasi

His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces offered condolences to the family of martyred Emirati serviceman Saeed Anbar Juma Al Falasi, who succumbed to his wounds sustained while participating in 'Operation Restoring Hope', being conducted in Yemen by the Saudi-led Arab Coalition.

Al Falasi was receiving medical treatment at a hospital in France.

While visiting the mourning majlis in Al Wasl area, Sheikh Mohamed extended his heartfelt condolences to the martyr's father and sons. He also prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the soul of the martyr with mercy in Paradise.

While speaking with the family, the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince expressed his pride and appreciation of the Emiratis who are immortalising the meaning of noble sacrifice, courage and acts of champions, as well as being role models of loyalty and belonging to the values instilled by their forefathers, which reflect their abilities to overcome threats and challenges.

''Emiratis will always be ready to answer the call of duty through their sacrifices for the sake of the homeland," Sheikh Mohamed said.

He also said that the pride of the families of martyrs by their sons represents a candlelight that leads the way towards a brighter future and more progress for the UAE among other countries.

Sheikh Mohamed was accompanied by Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development, Sheikh Khalifa bin Tahnoun bin Mohammed Al Nahyan, Director of The Martyrs' Families' Affairs Office at the Abu Dhabi Crown Prince's Court, and Mohammed Mubarak Al Mazrouei, Under-Secretary of the Crown Prince's Court of Abu Dhabi.
