A spokesman for the Arab coalition forces, Brigadier General Ahmad Asiri has announced the martyrdom of 10 Saudi soldiers, ‘Al Bayan’ reports.
The soldiers were part of the Arab coalition forces in Yemen.
Asiri said that the Saudi soldiers were killed in the explosion in Yemen yesterday.
Friday's blast was also reported to have killed five troops from Bahrain.
5 Bahrain solders martyred
The General Headquarters of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) announced today the martyrdom of five of its military personnel while performing their sacred national duty as they participated in defending Saudi Arabia's southern borders.
The martyrs are First Sergeant Mohammed Nabil Hamad, Sergeant Mohammed Hafedh Yunis, Sergeant Abdul-Qadir Hassan Al Alas, Sergeant Hassan Eqbal Mohammed and Corporal Abdul- Moneim Ali Hussain.
The BDF General Headquarters offered profound condolences to the families of the brave martyrs, praying to Allah the Almighty to bestow His mercy on them and to rest their soul in eternal peace and to bless their relatives with fortitude and patience.
