12 ways to recharge your Etisalat prepaid mobile; cards vs digital

UAE telco Etisalat says a growing number of its customers are recharging their Wasel lines through digital channels.

In response to an Emirates 24|7 query about a purported shortage of its recharge coupons from some convenience chains, the telecom company said its digital channels are gaining popularity.

According to Etisalat, there are 12 ways to recharge a prepaid line: Etisalat Mobile App, Etisalat Online Services, Recharge cards, eVoucher. eRecharge, Etisalat Payment Machines (EPM), Auto Pay, Mobile Pay, Online Banking, Local Credit Transfer. International Credit Transfer and via Empost.

“Etisalat’s digital channels have become a popular choice for customers to recharge their prepaid mobile accounts and it is a rising trend. Many customers now also use the Etisalat UAE selfcare mobile app to recharge their credit in a simple and hassle-free way,” the telecom company said in a statement.

The firm, however, said there was no shortage of physical recharge coupons at retail stores.

“Etisalat ensures that mobile recharge cards and vouchers are also widely available across its retail partner network in the UAE for customers who prefer using this mode of recharge,” it said.
