3 wounded in shooting at New York concert

At least three people were wounded Wednesday night in a shooting at a music venue in New York before rapper T.I. was set to perform.

Authorities said two men and a woman were shot at around 10:15 p.m. PIX 11 reported the woman was shot in the leg and one of the men was shot in the chest.

Police said one of the men had life-threatening injuries. The condition of the other two victims was not immediately known.

At least 1,000 people were at Irving Plaza for the rap concert. One attendant told PIX 11 that no one was searched before going into the venue.

Police haven’t released information about a possible suspect in the shooting. Authorities cleared the building and are searching for other possible victims.

Irving Plaza is a 1,025-person ballroom-style music venue.
