The American reality show 'Toddlers and Tiaras' famous for its controversial child beauty pageants sparked even more flare-ups last week when a four-year-old  contestant walked the stage with fake breasts and a padded bottom.

According to media reports, Maddy Jackson was emulating her icon - singer Dolly  Parton known for her hour-glass figure and ample cleavage.

While social networking sites are flooded with comments on the disturbing act, the child's mother and grandmother have defended their decision saying the "cash  prizes can be put towards schooling and toys for the children", reported 'Daily  Mail'.

Even the little girl's own stylist felt the dress was 'inappropriate'. But Maddy's  mom was determined to put on detachable enhancements on the child for the live  show.

Fake tan

In a similar case, a mother in the UK used fake tan on her four-year-old daughter  to boost her confidence.

Jools Willis regularly gives her children - Tate, 4, Chayce, 6, and Darcie, 10, a  fake tanning treatment at her salon.

She says the children want to look like her  adult customers. She even gives her 14-year-old son Zac collagen treatment for his  spots. All the kids support their mother.
