5-year-old dangles from 15th storey window

A five-year-old Chinese girl attempted to climb out of her 15th floor apartment window only to get her head stuck in the safety bars.

According to a report in DailyMail, firefighters rescued her from her home in Chongqing municipality in China after she was left dangling 15-storeys above the ground.

When neighbours first saw a dress flutter from the window they never thought it could be a little girl. But no sooner they confirmed it was five-year-old Li Li than they informed emergency service.

Two teams of fire crews arrived at the scene, while one team knocked down her locked front door, the other prised open the window bars so she could be pulled to safety.

Investigations are on to determine why the little girl was left alone at home.
