7 men needed to carry 150kg woman to ambulance

A woman weighing 150kg has collapsed on the fifth floor of her residential building. What do you do? In China, they simply carried her down – 7 men in all.

According to an asiaone.com report, the elderly woman in Beijing was moved by four paramedics and three security guards to a waiting ambulance, after she fell into a coma recently.

Asiaone, quoting a NetEase report, identified the woman as Yi and wrote that she is in her 60s, suffering from recurrent asthma and sleep apnea due to obesity.

Yi was using a ventilator at home when fell into a coma and her family called emergency service. The paramedics found Yi unable to fit on a stretcher and had to carry her down. Yi's condition has since stabilised at Xiyuan Hospital
