BlackBerry Z10 sold out; new stock pending

Massive demand for product led to this situation

BlackBerry Z10 has run out of stock across major stores in the UAE within three days of its official availability in the country.

Several leading stores had between 100 to 200 units available for sale ever since it went on sale in the UAE starting February 10.

“We sold the last available unit yesterday. The demand for the product is massive,” said a sales executive at official distributors Axiom.

An E-Max sales staff told Emirates24|7 that white-coloured models were the last ones to get over.

“The demand is good. Despite issues such as non-availability of Skype or WhatsApp, or difficulties in transferring contacts, we sold quite a number of units. The black coloured models were sold out on Tuesday itself. White ones were available until last evening,” said the sales staff.

The UAE was one of the first few countries where BlackBerry released its new Z10 smartphone, following the launch of the BB10 operating system on January 30. The handsets will only be available in the US in March.

Great phone. Z10 is everything I need it to be - looks and acts as a professional. I kinda been feeling my previous phone was childish and more for gaming.

The phone is amazing. It does to work with any email system. In fact, I have 3 emails accounts all synced and i see all my contacts in linked, twitter etc. The phone is the best on the market and anyone buying one will be very impressed and happy they did. It takes multi-tasking to a new level. So much easier than an iphone.

Z10 is a disaster!.... No-one tells you it does not sync with Outlook with the new Blackberry Link which replaces Desktop Manager unless you are on Enterprise...what is the point of having the phone!.....This has been confirmed with Blackberry!
