Did the clouds fall onto Earth? Check out this viral video

A WhatsApp video claiming to be of ‘clouds on earth’ in a country within this region is doing the rounds even as some claim it may have been doctored.

The video shows what seem to huge foamy bubbles on land.

An expert says it could have been the result of a natural phenomenon called ‘sea foam,’ which tends to create a thin layer of foam above the surface and the near-shore areas.

Such foam tend to be white, and in some cases, it may extend to reach 50km from the sea.

This happens as a result of impurities that find their way into the sea. These components and impurities may be various of different organic material, salts, remains of dead and decaying plants, and billions of rotting fish.
