Driving Dubai to Abu Dhabi? Beware of fog, warn police

The UAE will witness hazy weather with cloudy skies on Monday.

Abu Dhabi Police has cautioned residents and motorists of low visibility due to fog formation in different parts of the emirate and on highways.

The police tweeted: "Low visibility due to fog formation on different parts in Abu Dhabi and high ways. Motorists are urged to take extra caution."

According to a national weather bureau forecast, the cloud cover will increase gradually resulting in light rain during night and Tuesday morning.

Moderate to fresh wind will blow up sand over internal and Northern Emirates, reported NCMS.

Sea will be rough.

Meanwhile, minimum temperature in internal areas will be between 13 and 18 degree centigrade, while in mountainous areas it likely to hit a low of 10 degree C.

Humidity in coastal and internal areas is expected to soar to 95 per cent.
