DSF jackpot: Sudanese wins 2 cars, Dh100,000

It took him 14 years of participating in the DSF raffle draw to finally win one

In the last 14 years, Sudanese national Zaher Al Dein Mohammad Ismail has always participated in the DSF raffle draw.

He never won, until January 20, were his name was picked in the Infiniti Mega Raffle, winning him two luxurious Infiniti cars and cash worth Dh100,000.

An exporter, Zaher travels regularly between Sudan and Dubai, and has been taking part in DSF since 1999.

“Every year I used to dream of winning a DSF raffle. I did not give up and this is why I think my dream has finally come true,” said an elated 58-year-old Zaher.

In fact, the day Zaher purchased his raffle ticket from the Eppco station, his name was picked in the daily draw.

He has noble plans for his cash prize, insisting that he will donate half the cash prize for a charitable cause. The other half, he plans to keep aside for the wedding of his two children.

Zaher is the father to six children.

Every day at the Infiniti Mega Raffle draw, a lucky person is picked to drive home two luxurious Infiniti models, JX35 and G25, and cash worth Dh100,000.
