There were heavy rains in the eastern regions of Sharjah recently.
Thirteen families were evacuated from Al Ghayl area which was one of the most affected by the recent rains in Sharjah’s eastern region.
Khor Fakkan Kalba and Dibba Al Hisn also received good rains on Tuesday. Minor property damage was reported from Madah.
Roads in Al Madavi area and near the new expo building on Sheikh Khalid Al Qassimi Street of Khor Fakkan were flooded but there were no road accidents because of the rain. Falling rocks and stones blocked traffic on the road in Al Hilo Valley.
Police has urged residents not to enter the valleys during heavy rains.
