2 Emirati brothers killed in road crash

Two Emirati brothers died in a road accident on Thursday, when their car flipped over many times.

The brothers were driving along Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road in the direction from Ajman to Dubai, reported ‘Emarat Al Youm’.

Sharjah Police said that the operations room received information about the accident at 4am. And immediately, a rescue team along with ambulances and police rushed to the scene.

However, cops found that the driver of the car had died on the spot. The younger brother was critically wounded and was rushed to Al Qassimi Hospital but was declared dead on arrival, the report added.

Initial investigations reveal that the driver had lost control of the car and it hit the road divider, thereby flipping over many times before settling on the roadside.

Sharjah Police has once again called on motorists to respect speed limits and use seatbelts.
