2 killed in separate accidents in Sharjah

A 20-year-old Pakistani man was killed after falling from a high-level apartment in Sharjah and police said they were investigating the incident.

The semi-official daily Alittihad quoted police sources as saying the man, identified only as ME, died on impact after hitting the ground in Al Taawun neighborhood.

In Sajaa, another Pakistani was killed and his roommate was injured in a gas cylinder blast at their home. Police said the victim died of serious burns and injuries at Al Qassimi Hospital while his friend was treated for minor burns.
