3 Mers cases tested negative: Haad

The Health Authority - Abu Dhabi (HAAD) has announced that three of the individuals who are in isolation in hospital with MERS Coronavirus have now tested negative for the virus, and left the hospital.
 
HAAD said that these 3 cases were confirmed positive through routine screening of contacts, and were kept in isolation at hospitals as a precautionary measure. They were able to clear the virus themselves without any treatment.

The Health Authority, in coordination with the Ministry of Health, health authorities and competent departments, has taken all necessary precautionary measures as per international standards and recommendations from the World Health Organisation.

The Ministry of Health said the epidemiological investigation centres in the UAE were working round the clock to early report any detection of virus, confirming that the health system is active in the country and the ministry is following the situation closely to ensure the health and safety of everyone.
