37 absconding women caught hiding in villa

Sharjah police has arrested 36 Ethiopian women and an Indonesian woman for fleeing their sponsors.

All of them were arrested from an Arab villa in the emirate after police received information of their presence there. They were also doing illegal work.
 

After receiving a tip-off, cops raided an Arabian-styled villa and found the women. Most of them had worked as domestic helps.

All of them will be referred to the Public Prosecution.

Sharjah Police urged the public to report such cases to the police on the phone number 999 or 065-632-222 or on the toll free number 800151.
