4-year-old dies in Sharjah 6th floor fall

A four-year old child died on the spot after falling from the balcony of his family’s sixth floor apartment in a building in Sharjah’s Muwaileh area.

Police identified the Pakistani child as ‘MM’.

Police said preliminary investigations point to negligence of the house owners since the child was standing alone in the balcony at the time of the tragedy.

Sharjah Police has again warned people to take measures to prevent children from entering balconies alone and opening the windows of their apartments.
