4-year-old returning from play run over in UAE
car
A four-year-old Omani girl was run over by a four-wheel drive in Umm Al Quwain on Wednesday evening.
According to a report in Arabic daily Al Bayan, the child along with four other children had gone to a park to play. The kids were accompanied by a maid.
The mishap occurred after playtime, when they were hailing a cab to return home.
According to Colonel Mohammed Ibrahim Albayrak, Director-General of Police, Umm Al Quwain, when a taxi pulled aside for them to get in, the little girl ran across the road to ride the car.
