4x4 hits pavement divider in Dubai killing driver instantly

One person has died and another was severely injured after a Toyota 4x4 lost control and hit the pavement divider in Dubai early this morning.

Major General Mohammed Saif Al Zafeen, Director General of Dubai Traffic Police issued a statement stating that the driver of the vehicle lost control and as a result the vehicle collided with the concrete barrier.

The driver died on the spot, while another person in the car was severely injured. One more person in the car escaped with minor injuries.

Dubai Police have not divulged any other details for now.
