African held with $1m fake notes in RAK

Ras Al Khaimah police arrested an African man after he tried to circulate more than $one million in fake notes in the northern emirate.

Police sent an undercover policeman to the man to buy the money after receiving information the African had nearly 1.07 million in fake dollar notes.

After delivering the notes to the undercover officier, the police rushed to the scene and arrested the African, according to Brigadier Abdullah Al Hadidi, director general of RAK police operations.
