Al Gaith is EAY's 'Person of the Month'

The deputy chairman of the UAE group Al Gaith Holding has been selected as 'Person of the Month' by Dubai-based Emarat Al Youm daily cited his charitable work.

Dr Gaith bin Khadim Al Gaith was picked or the August award from several UAE candidates because of his continuous charitable and humanitarian gestures targeting various types of people, including workers, patients, cleaners, orphans, children and Emiratis seeking to marry, the paper said.

He was awarded the prize under the patronage of Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai’s Media Inc.

Emarat Al Youm editor-in-chief Sami Al Reyami handed the award to Gaith during a function that was attended by officials, businessmen and journalists, including Ahmed Al Hammadi, Executive Director of Publication at DMI and Yousuf Ahmed, Director of the editor-in-chief’s office.

“This award is a communal recognition of Gaith’s humanitarian efforts and also a token message of thanks from Emarat Al Youm and its readers for his efforts,” Reyami said.

Gaith thanked Emarat Al Youm for the prize and hailed its role in serving the community.
