Al Isra wal Miraj timings for Dubai government departments, Metro

Not all government departments will remain closed on the occasion of Al Isra wal Miraj. Several departments in the city will be functional, albeit for limited hours and services.
 
Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) will continue to provide services to customers but only in some centres – like the head office in Al Garhoud, in Burj Nahar, Al Wasl and Discovery Garden centre from 8.30am to 3pm.
 
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) will continue providing its services to customers. All RTA customer service centres will remain closed for the day but its bus, metro and marine service will be very much running.
 
The Red Line on the Dubai Metro will be running from 5.30am to 12 midnight and the Green Line will be providing services from5.50am to 12 midnight.
 
The water bus from Dubai Creek and Marina station will be working from 10am to 12 midnight whereas the water taxi from these stations will be working from 10amto 10pm.
 
Bus services will also be on. From the main station at gold souk, buses will run from 4.30am to 12.30 midnight. Services will also be provided from other stations like Satwa, Al Quasis, Al Quoz industrial and Jebel Ali. It will be a 24-hour service for Route Co1 only at Satwa station and from the rest of the said stations you can avail of bus service from 4.30am to 12.30midnight.
 
Metro feeder buses from stations like Al Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Dubai Mall, Abu Hail and Etisalat stations will be running from 5.15am to 12.15 midnight.
 
For vehicle licensing and registration, many centres will remain closed but 24-hour service will be provided at Wasel (Jadaf), ENOC (Al Barsha and Al Tawat), Quick centres.
 
For health services, all centres of Dubai Health Authority will remain closed but emergency services will be available.
 
Dubai Municipality and Dubai Land Department will remain closed so keep your work scheduled for Monday.
 
Immigration services will not be available as all centres of General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs-Dubai will remain closed. Emirates Post centres will also remain closed, as will Dubai Financial Market.
