Emirates 24|7 is happy to note that the prices are in line with what our sources had earlier confirmed and as was published two weeks ago on our website. Read: iPhone 5s, 5c official UAE availability announced.

iPhone 5s UAE prices begin at Dh2,599 for 16GB, Dh2,999 for 32GB and Dh3,399 for the 64GB version of Apple’s high-end smartphone.

No indication yet on whether the ‘gold’ model iPhone 5s will be as freely available as the others but the Apple Store does mention that the new smartphones will be available from November 3, 2013, instead of the earlier announced November 1, 2013.

Earlier this month, Apple had officially announced that the iPhone 5s and the colourful iPhone 5c will be available in more than a dozen countries on Friday, November 1, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, India and Mexico. The new iPhone 5s introduces the fingerprint-lock, or Touch ID, and is Apple’s fastest selling smartphone yet even as analysts are not so kicked about the sales of the colourful iPhone 5c, which they believe isn’t priced cheap enough to entice new, non-Apple customers.

Every customer who buys an iPhone 5s or iPhone 5c at an Apple retail store will be offered free Personal Setup service, helping them customize their iPhone by setting up email, showing them new apps from the App Store.

Besides the UAE, Apple has also delayed the launch of the new iPhones by a couple of days in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, where it gets launched on the same day as the UAE.
