Acquitted of threatening air-hostess

An Afghan businessman was acquitted of the charge of threatening a woman with killing her over a phone call, for the lack of sufficient evidence.
 
NS, 25, British air-hostess, told police that on April 29, at around 9.25pm while she was with a friend in a coffee shop, she received a phone call from Afghanistan.

The caller, MS, 28, threatened to kill her and send her mother to prison when comes to Dubai. He also insulted her by claiming that she is in the vice trade in Dubai. He was threatening her to force her to withdraw  a complaint that she had filed against him with Dubai Police.
 
The victim’s friend and co-worker, LK, 28, British of Russian origin, who was with her at the time NS received the call, repeated corroborative testimonies.
 
MS denied the accusations in court.
 
The court did not find sufficient evidence against the accused.
