Asian child found hanging from fan

An 11-year-old Indian boy was found hanging by the ceiling fan at the workers’ living quarters in an industrial zone in Sharjah.

Police, quoted by the semi-official daily 'Al Ittihad' said the boy was found dead by workers in industrial zone 11.

The body was sent to the coroner to determine the exact cause of death, while police began an investigation into the incident.

“Police are questioning workers and other persons in the area to determine whether the boy committed suicide or a criminal act is involved in his death,” the paper said without identify the boy.
