AUS board approves Dh605 million budget for academic year 2013-2014

The American University of Sharjah (AUS) Board of Trustees under the chairmanship of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah and President of the university, has approved Dh605 million budget for the academic year 2013-2014.

At the beginning of the 35th Board meeting, Sheikh Sultan expressed his happiness with the development of the AUS and its progress among other universities, especially in the framework of its Strategic Plan for 2014.

He also expressed his appreciation to the efforts exerted by the university administration and staff members, contributing greatly in obtaining this hallmark, praising the evolution of the University's programmes of study and research.

For their part, the members of the Board of Trustees expressed their pride and appreciation with the great progress achieved by the university under the guidance and leadership of H.H. the founder and President of the AUS University and his permanent eagerness to make the varsity in the forefront of academic institutions at the regional and international level.
