Canteen food safe: Sharjah school

The Management of the Private International School of Choueifat in Sharjah confirmed to Emarat Al Youm that there are no cases of food poisoning among students after eating from the school cafeteria.

They attributed the cases of tummy troubles reported by a few students to a virus.

The school management informed that the food served in the cafeteria was inspected by a team from the ministry of health, and they did not find anything amiss.

Earlier, there were reports in the social media networks that the school shut down the kindergarten classes allegedly due cases of food poisoning.

Meanwhile, the Sharjah municipality official said it has taken a sample from the water in the school to be analyzed.
