Car jumps 6th floor of car park: Woman dies

A 54-year-old European woman motorist died when her vehicle fell from the sixth floor of a multi-storey car park in Abu Dhabi, according to a report in the Arabic daily newspaper ‘Al Bayan’.

Major Saeed Al Dhaheri of Abu Dhabi Police, initial inspection showed that the accident on Khalifa Street happened while the vehicle was being reversed.

The accident happened at 8am on Sunday.

"Police patrols and ambulance were rushed to place of accident promptly," Major Al Dhaheri said.

“Investigations are continuing,” he added.

Ministry of Interior published the images of the vehicle, which fell from the sixth floor of a building at Khalifa Energy Complex on Twitter and their website.
