A three-year-old Emirati boy who was kicked by camel at his father’s farm in Fujeirah last week died in hospital because of severe head and back injuries, the Arabic press reported on Wednesday.
Doctors at the Fujeirah Hospital said Saeed died after spending four days at the intensive care unit following the camel attack.
Saeed was standing at the barn gate while his father was leading the camels for their daily meal inside the barn at the farm in Tuwein area in the emirate last week when a camel went mad and kicked him.
“One of the camels kicked Saeed, sending him high in the air before he landed on his head,” his father Rashid Matar said after the accident.
