Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director of the Directorate of Residence and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, has conveyed the directives by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to the officials at the Dubai International Airport, to renew at the airport expired passports of citizens unaware about expiry dates of passports.
The remarks were made during a meeting held by Al Marri with the passports officers. The meeting was attended by senior police officers.
Sheikh Mohammed had toured the airport on Thursday, where he inspected the procedures and work progress.
Al Marri also conveyed the instructions of Sheikh Mohammed to the officials to ease the travel traffic.
