Cop stabbed to death; 2 suspects from Satwa held

A detective from Ajman Police was killed by five men, allegedly locals, on Friday at around 6am. They stalked the victim until he was close to his home and stabbed him with swords, reported 'Khaleej Times'.

A source in the Ajman police said the suspects arrested lived in Satwa, Dubai.

The two suspects suffered injuries in road collision and were taken to Umm Al Quwain hospital.

A joint police force from Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Dubai and Sharjah arrested them following a car chase on Emirates Road.

The motive of the murder is still not clear.
