Dad, son graduate from school on same day

A Saudi man and his son graduated from secondary class on the same day in the Gulf kingdom, though from separate schools.

Zaid bin Batal was among the top students in his class at Al Thaghr school in the capital Riyadh while his son Abdullah graduated with ‘high grades’ from another school, according to Sada Arabic language daily.

It said school managements and education authorities were present at their graduation ceremony.

“I was in a challenge with my son as to who will score higher marks. I had not expected to achieve this top mark,” the father said.
