Dead man found in Fujairah hills

A municipality worker stumbled across a dead man in Fujeirah hills while he was doing his daily work in the area.

The worker phoned the police, who took the body for forensic examination for identification and determination of the cause of death.

Police, quoted by Alkhaleej newspaper, said the body was so decomposed that it makes it difficult to identify the man. It said the body was found nearly 10 km southwest of Fujeirah city.

Emirati killed in car crash in RAK

An Emirati man was killed after his car swerved off the road while he was driving on Emirates street in Ras Al Khaimah, a newspaper said on Sunday.

The 34-year-old was accompanied by a 25-year-old Arab woman who suffered from medium injuries in the accident on Friday morning, the semi official daily Alittihad said without giving other details.
