Dh14m worth fake products seized

The Anti-Economic Crimes unit at Dubai Police seized counterfeit products of international brands worth Dh14million, said Brigadier Khalil Ibrahim Al Mansouri, Director-General of CID, Dubai Police.

Salah Buasiba, Director of Anti-Economic Crimes unit confirmed fake products such as 'HP printers' were confiscated from villas in Al Tawar area following a tip-off.

He added the detectives monitored the area to be sure of the credibility of the An Asian, who confessed to possessing the counterfiet products have been arrested. He led police to another room in Ajman where more such goods were stored.
