DHA announces timings of healthcare facilities during New Year holiday

Hospitals and health centres will work as per shift timings and medical practitioners will be on call to ensure work continues as usual during the New Year holidays.

The Dubai Health Authority, DHA, on Wednesday announced the working hours of all its hospitals, DHA administration, primary health centres, PHCs, and medical fitness centres for 31st December and 1st January, 2018.

The emergency departments of all these hospitals will be functional round-the-clock on all days.

All the clinics in Dubai Hospital, Rashid Hospital and Latifa Hospital will remain closed during the holidays. The Al Barsha and Nad Al Hamar health centres will function 24 hours on all days.

All other PHCs and all medical fitness centres will remain closed during the holidays.

The Thalassemia Centre, Dubai Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Centre, Dubai Gynaecology and Fertility Centre and the Dubai Diabetes Centre will also remain closed during the holidays.
