Drug dealer on parole held for taking drugs

A drug dealer released from jail on parole in Fujairah was arrested again when he visited the police centre after taking drugs.

Police at the counter-drug unit in the eastern emirate suspected the man, identified as MA, was drugged when he reported to their centre as part of his parole.

Tests showed he had sniffed glue just before he reported to their centre, prompting them to re-arrest him and send him to court.

“The court found him guilty of having drugs again and sentenced him to one year in prison,” the Arabic language daily Alkhaleej said.
