Drug smuggler nabbed in Al Ain

Customs men in the eastern oasis town of Al Ain seized a man while trying to smuggle nearly 144 gm of drugs to neighbouring Oman, press reports said on Monday.

The narcotics were found in a shoe concealed inside a bag under the passenger seat and in other parts of the car, they said.

The unnamed man was arrested and referred to the competent authorities.
