A man from another Gulf Arab country finished his big booze night at a hotel in Dubai and walked out quietly towards a cab parked near the entrance.
Apparently thinking himself to be a taxi driver, he simply got in, turned the engine on and drove away, leaving the driver inside the hotel in shock.
“The drunk man drove straight to his house while the driver instantly phoned the police, who sent a patrol car after the taxi…the police later found the car near the man’s house and arrested him,” Emirat Alyoum daily said.
