Dubai Civil Defence launched on Sunday Dolphin, an innovative early response firefighing service utilising water jetpacks at the opening of Intersec Fire Safety Conference, part of Intersec 2017, the world’s largest trade fair for security, safety, and fire protection.

Major General Rashid Al Matrooshi, Director-General of Dubai Civil Defence, launched the firefighting system which will allow civil defence to tackle blazes in boats and shoreline buildings from water.

''Dolphin is one of the innovative ideas and smart apps which include the floating firefighting stations that launched by Dubai Civil Defence,'' he said while opening the conference.

To be held from 22-24 January at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre, Intersec features the Fire Safety Conference, and the Critical Infrastructure and Cyber Security Conference - providing you with significant insights into the changing dynamics of the regional safety and security industry.
