Dubai Customs announces Ramadan work hours

Dubai Customs has announced official working hours at its headquarters and customs centres during Ramadan to ensure clearance of goods whether for individuals or companies at convenient timings.

The headquarters shall be open from 9am until 2pm from Sunday to Thursday.

The customs centres at Dubai Cargo Village, Multi-Commodities Centre, Hatta Customs Centre, Coastal Berth, Creek Entry and Customs Declaration Clearance Department which tackles customs procedures clearance will be open 24/7 throughout Ramadan.

As for Jebel Ali and Tecom, Dubai Logistics City, Port Rashid, Ducamz, Dry Port and Airport Free Zone will work from 9am until 2pm.

Al Hameriya Centre will work from 8am - 5pm and from 8am - 4pm on Saturdays.

Al Khour Centre will be open from 8am - 5pm and from 8am - 1 in the afternoon on Saturdays. Al Khour Marine Operations will work from 8am - 5pm and from 8am – 12 in the afternoon on Saturdays.

The Contact Centre (toll free 80080080) which receives customers' enquiries about customs transactions will be open from 7:30am to 5pm and from 7:30am - 12:30 in the afternoon on Saturdays.

Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Executive Director of Client Management Division at Dubai Customs, said that Dubai Customs is keen on providing continuous goods clearance services during Ramadan to meet the clients' needs and requirements and in line with the department's vision and strategic objectives related to providing value-added customs services in order to support the economy and trade business and meet the clients' needs and requirements in general.
