The Dubai immigration department will be working during the upcoming holidays to ease the likely rush of applicants for its services.
Major General Mohammad Al Marri, Director General of the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs said the Dubai Immigration Department offices will function from 9am to 1pm on Thursday, the UAE National Day, and Sunday, the New Hijri holiday. He said the head office and four other centres will remain open on the two days.
Regular transactions and services will be available on Thursday and Sunday at the head office in Al Jaflia, and external centres in Jebel Ali, Dnata Office on Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai International Airport Free Zone, and Bin Sougat Shopping Centre.
The department is closed on Friday and Saturday, the weekly holidays although emergency services are available round-the-clock.
He said the emergency team will be available for processing online applications as in normal days.
