Empower, the world’s largest district cooling services provider, aims to achieve a higher Emiratisation rate where the company is set to recruit more experienced professionals and fresh graduates through participating in a series of career fairs across the UAE.

“Empower has participated in eight career exhibitions to offer promising opportunities to the UAE nationals who are looking for positions in district cooling industry,” said HE Ahmad Bin Shafar, Chief Executive Officer, Empower.

Human Capital department at Empower was present in the Career Day 2016 at Dubai University, Dubai Men’s College – Dubai Campus, Career Spotlight 2016 at Zayed University – Dubai Campus, Career Fair at Sharjah Men’s College – Sharjah City, Industry Walk at UAE University – Al Ain, Internship Fair 2016 at University of Sharjah, AUS Career Fair at American University Sharjah, and 9th Employers’ Day at Women’s College – Dubai. All the events were attended by many UAE national students and graduates.

These career events were organised to encourage Emiratisation and increase employability of Emirati graduates. Empower participated in these events with the objectives of recruiting Emirati talents to the team, and also to promote Empower brand among aspiring employees and candidates.

“The major focus of these participations was to offer qualitative opportunities to UAE nationals to get trained and get the right expertise in the district cooling sector,” said Bin Shafar.

“In response to the Dubai Government and the UAE Government’s calls to increase Emiratisation, Empower is on the lookout for UAE talents. We also aimed, by participating at these events, to increase awareness of our brand and highlight its positioning as well as demonstrate the opportunities we offer in the district cooling industry,” added Bin Shafar.

The company is searching for technical specialists and executives to manage its operations.

“We felt from the participation at these fairs enthusiasm from new graduates to work with us. It is a matter of pride for us to work in a country that respects people and puts them as the major focus as well as works on educating and training human resources as part of the socio-economic development,” added Bin Shafar.
