Dubai's summer sale: Win Dh10,000

Shoppers at the Big Summer Sale not only bagged huge discounts of celebrated international brands, but were also rewarded with Dh10,000 in cash.

Every shopper at the Dubai World Trade Centre was entitled to coupons for daily Dh10,000 raffle draw.

"I didn't expect it. I came with my family to Modhesh World then the promoters told us about The Big Summer Sale," said Amer Janahi from Bahrain, who won the cash prize.

"We just wanted to check the deals and ended up shopping. It's really amazing that we won. I want to thank Dubai and the organisers for the great experience. I usually visit Dubai four to six times a year and every time I find the experience different."

Sajid Contractor from India, said, "I didn't want to fill the coupon but the promoters convinced me. This is the second time I have won a raffle.

"I believe my newborn baby girl brought me luck. I don’t usually shop in malls or exhibitions. We came yesterday to The Big Summer Sale as my wife was insisting that we do. We bought shoes and clothes for our baby. I’m happy to get the great designer shoes as much as I am happy with the prize."

Another winner, Clive Micallef from Malta, said this was the first time he won anything.

"I really enjoyed the shopping experience at The Big Summer Sale. I found all my favourite brands under one roof. It's like you hit three birds with one stone.

"The offers and discounts are great and the prices are much less than outside. I found great deals at Charles Keith and Bedro. My wife also enjoyed shopping here and bought many shoes."
