Dubai to open trucks, birds markets after Eid

Dubai is planning to inaugurate two separate trucks and birds markets after Eid Al Adha holidays following the completion of preparations for the operation of the two facilities.

The trucks market includes 88 shops for vehicles and 60 spare parts shops and also involves associated services, including car wash, parking and administration.

Emarat Al Youm daily said the market has a total cost of around Dh72 million and would be opened by Dubai’s Municipality just after Eid, which is expected on September 23.

It quoted municipality officials as saying a birds market in Warsan area would also be launched after the Eid break and it includes a large number of shops for rent.
