Dubai winter is officially over: NCMS

No rain predicted for Dubai despite an overcast sky

It's time to pack away your sweaters and coats, as the Dubai winter is officially over.

Confirming the news, the weatherman said, the temperature will start to increase now. "Yes, the winter is over."

The temperature has been increasing steadily over the past few days, noted the weatherman.

The official at the National Centre for Meterology and Seismology (NCMS) also forecasted that the early morning fog situation in the emirate has cleared out. "There are no chances of fog tomorrow," he said.

Although Tuesday evening witnessed an overcast sky, the weatherman confirmed that there will be no rain in Dubai.

"There are chances of rain tomorrow, but in northern areas like Ras Al Khaimah."

He claimed that the weather forecast shows rain for three days.

On Tuesday night, Dubai recorded a maximum of 28 degree Celsius, and a minimum of 19 degree Celsius.

The temperature for Wednesday reads at a minimum of 16 degree Celsius and a maximum of 27-28 degree Celsius.
