The Road and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that per March 15 2013 all bus stops at World Trade Center Interchange will be cancelled and relocated at Al Jafiliya Bus Station.

The reason for the relocation is to ease traffic congestion at a strategic area as Dubai World Trade Center roundabout, let RTA know.

Flyers are currently handed out to inform commuters with a diagram, displaying the cancelled bus stations and the new location for the buses that are currently making use of the World Trade Center station.

Al Jafiliyah Bus Station will facilitate the inbound and outbound of bus routes 98E, 10, 91A and X94, in addition to the outbound of bus route 27 and 32C.

At Al Jafiliyah Metro Station more buses can be found. At the landside, bus routes 10, 21, 27, 29, 61, 88, 91A, C15, C26, 32C, X10, X28, X92, and X94 will run.

At the Seaside these bus routes will be 21, 29, 61, 88, C15, C26, X10, X28, X92.

The decision was welcomed by motorists who experience traffic congestion at that point.

"Mabrook RTA for this wise decision! The stop was creating havoc to motorist! Have trust on you on our safety!" tweeted somebody with the Twitter name @Omar nwinyi.

Somebody with the Twitter name Fayaz Lala tweeted: "That's a good move.. I am sure this way RTA would succeed in minimizing the number of accidents.. Appreciable…"
