Egyptian actress Abeer Sabry to sue abusive woman

Abeer Sabry, a well-known Egyptian actress is deeply disappointed after her altercation with another woman in a mall in Dubai recently.

The spat was captured on camera and has since then gone viral on social media sites.

According to Filfan website, Abeer is shocked at the woman's extreme reaction against her dress.

The actress claimed she was wearing a "long black cotton dress" that wasn't striking or offending in the least. 

Abeer has been in touch with her lawyer and plans to take legal action and sue the aggressive woman for defamation.

Abeer also defended the allegations of roaming around in the outlet while she was scantily dressed.

She said that since she was in the fitting room and required to try on dresses in different sizes, and asked shop assistants to help get her clothes of another size.

"I wonder how this can be termed as strange or bad behaviour," the actress asked. "Naturally, I will not put on my clothes and go out every time I need to try out a dress in different size. That is why I asked a lady from the shop to help me out while I was inside the fitting room."

She also spoke about the misunderstanding about her wearing her shoes while conversing with the other ladies. She said, "I didn't mean to provoke them when I was trying to wear my shoes. It is just that I had taken off my shoes while trying out a pair of trousers and was just trying to fix my shoes as I hadn't done that while exiting the fitting room."

Abeer expressed her disappointment over the incident and claimed that she maintained her cool in the face of rude behaviour and harsh words thrown at her.

However, the actress praised the kind words of Major-General Khalil Ibrahim Al-Mansouri, Assistant Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police for Criminal Investigation who said that the incident is unrelated to the UAE people.

She added that Khalil Ibrahim Al-Mansouri confirmed that it was disrespectful behavior assured her that suitable action would be taken against the aggressor.
