An elderly man has been sentenced to six month in jail for committing adultery with his maid.
The maid will serve three months in prison followed by deportation.
The Abu Dhabi Criminal Court also fined the man Dh50,000 for employing the maid who is not on his sponsorship.
The elderly man was arrested when the maid reported to police that she was pregnant and accused another person employed by the first defendant for committing adultery with her.
However, a medical test proved that the first accused is the biological father of the child.
